I just bought 2 new Michelin PS/2 at Hudiburg Chevy MWC. My 2 Goodyears on front with 28.5k on them had cord showing on the inside of the tires. Outside looked good. I have had 4 wheel alignment done on my previous 2 visits, but they insist the camber is set right, and this is a common problem with Vettes.

Can someone recommend a GOOD front end shop here in OK City that knows vettes and that will set the camber out of specs ( I have the data from Corvette Forum). I am kind of p.o.'d about what I thought was 2 good front tires, that are now decorations in my garage.

Hi I just saw this subject ,and I wanted to comment on it. I have access to a Hunter Alignment machine, because I teach auto tech ....but I teach in Ohio...Here is what I wanted to add though. I have aligned my own Corvette and I know it is very important to align the car in the correct order. You must align the rear first because the alignment machine bases all the angles off of the back angle. After aligning the rear then you can align the front. Remember most tire wear is caused by toe incorrectly set. Camber is a wear angle but usually it wears only one tire ,or the tires that do wear won't wear the same. If they are the same I would look to toe,but as I said ....they have to be set in the correct order...rear camber...rear toe...front camber ...front caster...front toe...have the alignment shop look for abnormal angles on both the front and the back...mr

This post is obviously months late, but THE place to go in OKC for an alignment is EuroSport in Norman. The have a flush-with the floor rack, and they will align it to your specs if you like. I had a great experience with them

I'll go there as long as I live in this area.
